4 pairs of goggles,
3 flip turns,
2 hundred flys,
and a long swim I'm still recoveren' from.

We call it "Christmas" Camp,
but it is 

not quite
the yule tide cheer
the name implies.

Ponder fatigue;
hydrate.
Consider agony, briefly.

Have a banana:

potassium is good.
Rest.
Take deep long breaths now.
We will see you at the pool.

Christmas Camp
knows no
religious affiliation
other than dread.
The counsellors
are mean.
There are
no presents


though absences
are noted.

Oh, and I got that deck gear if you ordered it and then bailed on practice Friday.  Reread the poem above.  I spent most of the weekend on it, revising it ever darker..
